PS3 Price Cuts now actually possible!

Orz, looks like someone’s get a PS3 after all.

Howard Stringer; Prez of Sony on PS3’s price:

Nintendo Wii has been a successful enterprise, and a very good business model, compared with ours . . . because it’s cheaper. That [price cuts] is what we are studying at the moment. That’s what we are trying to refine.

Cool, now make it actually happen. This price cut will be the grandest factor in my purchase. As long as they can get the PS3 at $300 bucks, shit… I’m rushing out to buy one! A $300 paperweight it may be, but at least I didn’t pay $600 for it.

Anyways, while this is pure speculation on my part, I think we’ll be able to see an announcement of the price cut during E3 this July. So mark your calendars folks, keep that cash ready, the moment it happens, you could be out of luck.

SIXAXIS rumble now in the works!

You heard it right folks. Apart from a future price cut, Sony is currently developing in testing phase of the rumble feature for the PS3. Inner Bits reports this:

Many have suspected that since the agreement, Sony will have been working on a new controller with rumble support. We can now confirm that this is the case. We’ve heard from two independent sources at Sony that they have been working on prototypes for several months. Officially, the corporate line is still “no comment”. Unofficially, Sony is facing some difficulties with battery life; i.e. Between the rumble and the wireless support, the batteries are draining too fast to be acceptable for consumers.

The agreement they’re talking about is the lawsuit filed by Immersion against Sony because of the Dual Shock controllers.

Awesome stuff right there. I’m glad Sony is actually trying to fix the battery life issue, props to them for doing this. I hope they get this fixed pretty early, so they can package the rumbled SIXAXIS controller with the system so it’ll be good for us future consumers, for those who own it though, I’m sure the rumble will be justified enough for you to purchase it.

Doki Doki Majo Shinpan now in a magazine stand near you!

Yar, it seems that Majo Shinpan’s popularity has skyrocketed way so much that there’s now a manga!

It’ll be by Yagami Ken, who made Nanaka 6/17.

And if ya haven’t seen it, check out my previous post for a trailer of the game. But be warned, about 3/4’s of the video, the bewb groping starts, so be warned. It’s not NSFW, but it’s just really wierd. Just don’t watch it when someone’s around, ‘kay?

I’m still waiting on an English/Engrish version of the game, if it happens, who knows, maybe I’ll actually pick it up just for kicks.

About your average stream of news, but yeah.

Oh yeah, go watch the Initial D Live Action movie if ya haven’t. It’s pretty good, hell the dub was actually tolerable! Plus, Anne Suzuki as Natsuki was hawt…. wait, no, Anne Suzuki was hawt, Anime/Manga Natsuki is definitely not hawt. Too bad, Natsuki was such a whore.

Anyways, happy gaming.
