Moving on up…

Yesterday was the very first time I posted on this blog, and yesterday was the first year anniversary of this blog. And I must thank Maestro and the Animeblogger.net community and folks, for setting everything up for me. But unfortunately, recent changes in life have changed my course of action, and it is with such regret for me to announce this, but the upcoming days will be a test, a test to see how long I can stay.

I’m not leaving by force, rather, my priorities have changed, and those priorities are much more important and I just can’t leave those priorities alone, and thus, if everything goes right by the end of next week, then it’ll be all over for me.

First of all, no, I’m not gonna die or anything like that. The past few weeks have been a roller coaster, and it all started back when I got grounded from the internet.

What exactly happened is that, I’ve found a better world, to say the least, and in order for me to stay in this world, then I must forego all of my other things. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not giving up anime or video games at all, I am still going to enjoy them like I normally would, but I have to enjoy them in small amounts, especially anime, video games on the other hand, let’s just say that this priority that I have right now is associated with video games, so I’m still gonna be playing them like crazy. This blog on the other hand will be getting the short end of the stick.

You see, I have no more time. Hell, the only reason why I’m here right now is because my newfound world(for lack of a better term) is off shopping with her girlfriends, and it’s not that I wasn’t invited(I’m their driver, lol), I chose to stay home so I can get some time in Rock Band and post this. But see, everything is just magnificent. The world I saw before was pretty depressing, it wasn’t a place where you would want to live in, but now, everything is colorful, and maybe even sugarcoated.

And that’s why I may have to quit blogging. It’s not that she’s forcing me to quit all of my hobbies(she’s the singer in Rock Band), but I may have to quit blogging because I simply have no more time for it. Even though my parents went ballistic when they found out what happened in Valentines day, right now, they’ve approved of everything, lol. My mom even went as far to say that if I could, stay with her until the end of time, so I’ve got some big things to carry on my back these days, but the thing is, I will.

But yes, time is short, and that’s why I can’t sit idly by blogging about things that I now find just outright weird. Yes, I’m sorry to say this, but I’ve lost interest in anime, video games on the other hand, no, because I’m still going for a career in the video game industry. But see, and no offense to you older folks out there(I’m a junior in HS), I just find it weird how people who are older than me are still devoting their life to collecting figures or spamming the hell out of TT to see if the raws are up for their favorite anime.

I’m not telling anybody to get a life or something as I was in the same position about a year ago. It’s just that maybe I’ve finally grown up, that is all.

Anyway, whatever happens in the following days, I’ll let it be known, and if it comes to where I have to quit blogging, then I shall write once more.

But for now, excuse me, they’re apparently done shopping and they wanna hang out to play some Rock Band. Damn it, I’m relegated back to watching them, how gay, but meh… my arms already hurt from drumming too much, I guess I can sit back and play Bass for now.
