Quick Notes: Rainbow Six Vegas 2… actually good!

Yeah, I know I called it a POS in my last post, but that was according to many websites who reviewed it. I went over to a friend’s house today to pick up somethings and ended up playing RSV2 on his 360.

6 hours later, I was at GameStop deciding whether I should get RSV2 or Hot Shots Golf 5. I told the dude at GS of my dilemma and told me that since I’m trading games in(yeah, DMC4 is bye-bye), I might consider RSV2 more since they have a 20% bonus on trade-ins, I asked him to ring everything it up, then next thing you know, my total comes in at around $20, SOLD!

But after playing Story mode for more than 3 hours, here’s my complaints:

1. The occasional lag or freeze that happens as you switch between game and pause menu or when you’re choosing your loadout.

2. Too much loading screens, it’s not even funny, boot the game up, installed, then loading screen to loading screen, and finally gameplay.

3. Online is decent! Unbelievably, there are many servers up and many people are actually playing this game! My complaint? Connection issue’s here and there, and lag! The game doesn’t lag up to the point where it’s unplayable, but the game does lag ever so often that it pisses you off or throws off pretty much whatever the hell you were trying to do.

Now if Ubisoft can fix this, then RSV2 will definitely be a better game! I’m actually pretty hooked to it, I just stopped to give out my thoughts.
